We are offerening CurrentCare to our patients. Many of our patients have already signed up. You might be wondering what CurrentCare is.
Directly from the CurrentCare website: CurrentCare is a free service developed by the RI healthcare community. Safe, reliable and efficient, it’s based on a secure electronic network that gives authorized medical professionals access to their enrolled patients’ most up-to-date protected health information from multiple sources in one place. By enrolling in CurrentCare, you’re creating the medical “Story of You,” a comprehensive record that will include lab test results, medications, and doctor or hospital visits. When your doctor participates in CurrentCare, he or she can use this information to gain a better understanding of your health care needs; make sure costly tests are not repeated; check that your medications are safe when taken together; and access important health information in an emergency.
CurrentCare is free and sign up is open now. Please check out the link below for more information and to sign up. Once on the page click on "Enroll Now" to complete the sign up.
During “Step 2: Enrollment”, be sure to indicate that you are our patient: When asked, “Who referred you to enroll in CurrentCare?” please select “Doctor’s Office”. When asked “Doctor’s Office Location,” please select “Children First Pediatrics”. We will be notified once you have completed the enrollment process. Enrollment is not mandatory, but we do recommend your participation in CurrentCare.
