Office Hours

Office hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Phones lines open at 8:00am M-F.  Saturdays 8:30 AM to 11:00 PM. Phone lines open at 8:30 am.

Call the office at (401)334-1200 during or after business hours for care and clinical advice or to schedule routine or same day sick visits.

Services Provided


Well Child/ Physical Exams, follow-up appointments, sick appointments, immunizations, otoacoustic emissions (OAE) screening, stereopsis depth perception screening, hearing evaluation, finger stick blood sugar testing, rapid strep, flu or RSV test, and urinalysis.  

Behavioral Health Services include:

Behavioral concerns can reveal themselves at any point in one's life. People can experience depression, anxiety, substance abuse or just need help to change unhealthy habits such as smoking or food dependency. Our providers are ready to discuss these issues when they occur. We also have an extensive referral network of BH specialists to address your particular need.

Monday – Thursday 8AM – 5:00PM

Friday 8 AM-4:30 PM

Phones are off answering service at 8:00AM to begin scheduling sick appointments for the day.

Emergencies (after hours)

Calls after 5:15PM will be taken by our physician on-call.

Emergency Calls (Day or Night)

Call 911 for any life-threatening emergencies.

Nighttime (After-Hour Calls)

These calls should be placed to our main number 401-334-1200. Calls should be made only for emergencies or urgent problems that cannot wait until morning. During these hours your calls will be received by an answering service and transferred to the physician on call. They will return your call within 15-30 minutes, if you do not receive a return call within the  half hour, in a non-emergency situation, please call again and inform the service you did you receive a return call.

Prescription Refill

Please request refills only during office hours when your child’s chart is available. For refills, please leave the name of medication, dosage, pharmacy number and a number where you can be reached with any questions.

Hospital Care

Your newborn is seen daily at W & I Hospital. If your older child’s medical condition requires admission, a hospitalist at Hasbro Children’s Hospital will manage your child's care while inpatient. Your pediatrican will be in contact with the hospitalist during your child's stay regarding your child's medical care.

Referral Network

If it is determined that your child needs a consultation, we will refer you to the appropriate specialist. A written referral may be necessary from our office in advance. It is your responsibility to know your health care plan requirements.

Insurance

We will bill most insurance carriers if the proper information is provided to us. We ask that you provide information regarding your medical insurance at your first office visit and notify us of any changes in your health coverage as soon as possible. Co-payments are due at the time of visit. A billing fee of $10.00 will be added to your account if you do not pay your copay at time of service. You must notify your insurance company with any changes in your Primary Care Physician.

Financial Arrangements

Monthly budget plans can be arranged with our Billing Manager. We are committed to provide you with the best possible care. Your insurance is a contract between you, your employer and the insurance company. We will make every effort to work within the constraints of your coverage, as long as there is no compromise to your child’s medical care.

Please give a 24 hours notice to cancel appointment. You may be charged a $25 fee for no show appointments. If you are later than 15 minutes to your appointment you may be asked to reschedule.
